Zuppa’s flagship store on Little Collins Street occupies a compact tenancy within one of Melbourne’s busiest CBD laneways. Biuro was engaged to deliver a space that balanced operational efficiency with the brand’s warm, wholesome identity. Within the limited footprint, the project integrated a fully compliant commercial kitchen, a streamlined point-of-sale zone and a mezzanine level to expand the store’s functional capacity.

Works included the construction of partition walls, coordinated interior finishes and the installation of upgraded services to support kitchen and front-of-house operations. Careful spatial planning ensured circulation, workflow and customer interface were optimised despite the tenancy constraints. Biuro also managed landlord negotiations on the client’s behalf to facilitate approvals and maintain project feasibility, delivering a practical, high-performance retail environment tailored to Zuppa’s offering.
